How we handle the information you share with us.
What this is
This is the privacy policy for Karman Line, Inc. and the sites we operate at karmanline.world, spaceportfund.com, and legacyoflaunch.org. We have kept it short because we collect very little information and we want what we do collect to be clear.
What we collect
When you submit one of our forms, we collect the information you provide. That typically includes your name, email address, organization, role, and whatever else the form asks for. We collect this so we can respond to you and so we can keep a record of our conversations.
When you visit our sites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs and edge analytics: IP address, user agent, country, and the pages you visited. This is the same information any website operator receives by default. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or social media pixels.
If you join our newsletter or briefing list, your email address sits in a contacts list operated by us. We do not sell, rent, or share that list.
What we do with it
- Respond to your inquiry or follow up on a conversation we started.
- Send you updates from Karman Line if you have asked to be on our list.
- Understand how our site is being used in aggregate, so we can improve it.
- Meet any legal or regulatory obligation we are subject to.
That is the whole list. We do not use your information for any other purpose without telling you first.
Who sees it
Inside Karman Line, your information is seen only by people who need to see it to do their work. Outside Karman Line, your information is processed by a small number of service providers we use to run the business: a hosting provider, an email provider, a forms provider, and standard productivity tools. Each of those providers has its own privacy commitments, and we choose them carefully.
We do not sell or rent your data. If we are ever required to disclose information by law, we will do so only to the extent legally required.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we have on file about you, correct it, or delete it. Send a note to privacy@karmanline.world and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can unsubscribe from our list at any time using the link in any email we send.
If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights (for example, the EU under GDPR or California under CCPA), those rights apply and we will honor them.
Cookies and tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies, mostly to remember preferences and to keep the site working. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not track you across other sites.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date below and, if the change is significant, we will say so on the site.
